2013.2.11 Letter #1 Elder Bryant to Family

We dropped Jordan off at the MTC on Wednesday February 6, 2013.  Our 

first communication with him was the following Monday when we received 

our first letter.  I only cried a little :)  

Happy Tears though...

I was so happy to hear that things were going very well at the MTC!!  

That one little word (very) communicated so much to me.  If he was 

just ok, he would have just written that things were going well... 

Now that I know things are good I can relax and enjoy the ride!!

2013.2.5 Dinner With Our Elder

So, our appointment for family photos was at 5:30.
At 7 or 7:15 we had to be at the church for Jordan
to be Set Apart as a missionary.  Then we got to
celebrate with him before he left the next day
for the MTC....

2013.2.5 Our Missionary...

After we had our family photos taken, Jordan was Set Apart as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  This was the night before he left for the MTC.  I think I was kind of numb. I knew he was leaving but couldn't imagine what it would be like having him gone...
